As well as entering the lakes you fish there is a repository of already pre drawn lakes that you can choose from, you will manage a list of you own lakes called MyLakes and against each of these you can record your catches, when you record a catch you will be asked to complete a form entering details such as the weight of the fish the bait used, time, date & weather but you will also be given a number of freeform fields where you can add details such as the moon cycles or whatever else you think may be relevant when analysing your catches.
As well as adding your catches you also add details of fish that you have lost and fish you have seen others catch, but it does not end there you can also add details of sightings of fish, if you see a group of fish feeding on other side of lake note down the time date and relevant conditions, this could even include named fish.
Slowly you will build up a diary of all the activity on the lakes that you fish and these can then be used in the display section of this web site. Imagine you are pursuing that biggest fish in the lake and you record all captures others have made all sightings of the fish then you can enter the conditions for the coming weekend and this will help you making the right choice of swim before you even get to the lake.
By recording lost fish and the tackle you used including rig length and bait you can also help improve your fish landed rate.
